Sundays at 11:00 am

WHAT TO EXPECT?

Here’s what a typical Sunday at St. John’s feels like—simple, welcoming, and centered on Jesus.
  • rELAXED WELCOMING ATMOSPHERE
No one will single you out, and you won’t be asked to do anything you’re uncomfortable with. You’re welcome to participate as much—or as little—as you’d like.
  • meaningful worship
Our worship includes music, prayer, Scripture, and a message rooted in real life and the good news of Jesus. It’s reverent but approachable—and participation is always optional.
  • come just as you are
You’ll see everything from casual to dressy. There’s no dress code—wear what helps you feel comfortable. The main thing isn’t what you wear—it’s that you’re here
  • A SERVICE THAT LASTS ABOUT AN HOUR

Our Sunday worship is about an hour long.We value meaningful worship—without rushing or dragging things out.
  • PARKING
Street parking is available in the neighborhood surrounding the church, with additional parking in the city lots directly across the street. Give yourself a few extra minutes to park and make your way in.
  • COMMUNION
We celebrate Communion on the first Sunday of each month and on special occassions. Christ’s table is open to all who wish to participate—and participation is always your choice.
  • CHILDREN AND FAMILIES
Children are always welcome in worship. We’re a small congregation and don’t currently offer separate childcare or children’s programming, so families worship together.
  • AFTER THE SERVICE

You’re welcome to stay for conversation and refreshments after worship—or simply head out when the service ends. There’s no expectation either way.

THINKING ABOUT JOINING US?

You’re always welcome to simply show up—you don’t need to let us know you’re coming. But if you’d like, send us a quick note before your visit. We’ll know to expect you and can answer any questions you have ahead of time.
